Baby, it’s cold outside-for November

It was virtually ten days of below freezing weather that ended on Friday.

Clinton area weather observer Jim Blaess says the temperature dropped below the 32-degree mark on November 11th at 6 P-M and stayed below freezing until topping 32 at 12:30 on Friday, November 21st.
Blaess says that’s unusual for November. He pointed out the average high on Friday is 45 and average low is 25.

Blaess also pointed out that Friday’s low of 5 degrees was the lowest temperature in a November since November 14th of 1996 when it was 2-degrees.
