Governmental meetings this week

The Clinton City Council has a Thursday morning meeting this week-check out the tentative schedule of various governmental meetings this week.

Monday is the regular meeting day for the Clinton County Board. The Supervisors meet at 9 A-M to review bills and correspondence. The business portion of the agenda starts at 9:15.
There are several actions to fill appointments on some Clinton County committees.
There is also action concerning the I-T department on the agenda.

Monday is also the day for the Riverbend School Board meeting.
There is a list of topics for the Superintendent’s report to the board including enrollment, a strategic plan update and a school calendar.
The meeting will be at 6:30 on December 15th at the River Bend District Office in Fulton.

The Fulton City Council meets Monday evening. The council will consider action on the one-point-seven percent increase in the property tax levy and related ordinance changes.  The session starts at 5:30 at Fulton City Hall.

The Northeast School Board will be meeting on Wednesday this week. The meeting will be at the Elementary Building Library at 6 o’clock.

The Clinton City Council meets on Thursday morning this week. It’s the final meeting of the year with a few business items to handle.
One of those items is to set a public hearing on what would be the downtown business association’s forgivable loan of 30-thousan dollars for the proposed renovation of the downtown Wilson Building. The city must approve the loan from the business group.
The Clinton City Council business session is at 9:30 Thursday morning.
