The high temperature this afternoon reached 93 degrees and Clinton area official weather observer Jim Blaess says that tied the record for the date set in 1948.
Blaess added that today makes the 4th day with 90 degrees or higher temperatures and that ties the record of four days in September 1985.
The Clinton weather observer added that there can be 90 degree days in October and the last one was 2006 on October 3rd with 91 and that tied the record for that date.
