Clinton County moved up in some health rankings and down in others in a national report (link included to the details).

Clinton County Community Health Manager and Public Health Nurse Michelle Cullen said there a lot of opportunities for improvement

The overall health ranking of Clinton County went from 86 in 2013 to 78 in the 2014 rankings that have just been released.
In the health factors category Clinton County ranked 91 of the 99 counties and the previous year ranked 92nd.
Cullen said an assessment study in Clinton County will be conducted over the next several months to help determine steps that could improve the health of the people of the area.

In the report prepared by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation – through the University of Wisconsin all counties across the country are studied for a number of factors.
