Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

The Camanche School Board, Riverbend School Board, Fulton Council and Clinton County Board to meet

The Camanche School Board will be meeting Monday evening in a regular business session.
The Board will hear an update on the Iditarod Teacher on the Trail as middle school teacher Erin Montgomery filled that role in the just completed dog sled race across Alaska.
The Camanche School Board will also hold a public hearing on a proposed school calendar for the next school year and consider sending a request for proposal to provide athletic training services for the district.
The meeting is at 7:30 at the Administrative Center in Camanche.
The Riverbend School Board meets on Monday evening for a regular session. The board will hear updates on several issues and topics including enrollment and district improvement.
There are also a few action items on the agenda.
The session will start at 6:30 on the District Office in Fulton.

The Riverbend School’s Finance Committee will meet at 5:30 Monday to review some of the financial information preceding the business meeting. The Board’s Building and Grounds Committee will also be meeting before the regular meeting to review some project updates. That session is at 3:30 at the District Office.

The Fulton, Illinois City Council meets on Tuesday evening. There will be a public hearing on the budget for the city and consideration of adopting the spending plan.
Also on the agenda is a request from Bob Whitten to approve a permanent stage at Heritage Canyon. The stage would be used as a band shell in the canyon and ten-percent of event revenues would be returned to the city.

Tuesday will be the regular meeting of the Clinton County Board. The Supervisors will be meeting at 9:15 for their business session.
One of the issues is a request to provide some funding to the counties in central Iowa in a legal battle with the Des Moines waterworks concerning pollution run off into the river used for water in Des Moines. The counties and the drainage districts involved in the disputes.
