Save The 4th of July Parade

Here is the schedule of events for 4th of July....
9:00AM-Volleyball and Bags Tournament (Fee for entry)
1:00PM-Parade on Riverview Drive, starting at the 9th Ave boat ramp and ending at the Historical Society.
1:00PM-Kids Free Day at the Clinton Municipal Pool. Adults $2
Events in the park begin immediately following the parade, approximately 2PM
2:00-6:00PM Six giant inflatables, including a slide, bounce house, an obstacle course, a ball toss, a caterpillar, and bungee run.
2:00-6:00PM Miller's Petting Zoo ($1 for food if wanted)
2:00-6:00PM Live music in the bandshell. Municipal Band, Landon & Liam, John June Year and Dani Lynn Howe Band
2:00-6:00PM-Dunk Tank
2:00-6:00PM-Discovery Center Tent with games, face painting, and temporary tatoos
2:00-6:00PM Rembrandt Rookies (sidewalk chalk) and Hopscotch
2:00-6:00PM Old-fashioned obstacle course
2:00PM-Water Ballon Toss Contest
2:30PM-?-Fire department "hose off". There will be up to 13 area fire departments participating. This will take place on Riverview Drive in front of the Showboat.
2:30PM-Hula Hoop Spin Contest
3:00-4:00PM Potato Sac Races (3:00 3-6 yr olds, 3:30 7-10 year olds, 4:00 11-15 year olds)
3:30PM-Three Legged Race
4:00PM-Watermelon Eating Contest
4:30PM-Sunflower Seed Spitting Contest
5:00PM-Hot Dog Eating Contest sponsored by Holly's Dogs (entries must be received by 4:30 PM, drawing for contestants will be at that time, MUST BE 18 or over)
5:30PM-Kids Ugly Face Contest (3-6 year olds)
6:30PM-Clinton Showboat will be performing Bye Bye Birdie. Tickets are available through the Showboat.
7:00PM-Clinton Lumberkings host the Beloit Snappers.
9:30PM(Approximately)-Fireworks. The fireworks will be shot off behind Ashford University Field in Riverview Park.
FOOD starting at 2:00PM and FREE while supplies last on a first come first served basis.....
