Ashford University cuts 450 jobs
(Clinton) -- Apparently none of the changes are in the Clinton operations of the school
Job cuts and realignment of other positions are being made at the Ashford University-but apparently none are in the Clinton operations.
After the cuts were announced in San Diego-the home of Bridgepoint Education - the parent company of the private school, a spokesperson issued a statement to KROS NEWS the moves are being made to provide students with the best opportunities to succeed. The organization stated the re-organization of staff has the goal of improving student retention and academic success.
The statement continued that 400 Ashford employees have been reassigned to roles that will support this new process and, approximately 450 Ashford Admissions positions in San Diego and Denver have been eliminated.”
