It was chilly
(Clinton) -- Not a record but it dropped below freezing Saturday
Clinton area official weather observer Jim Blaess says it was 28 on Saturday and that classified as a 'frost and a freeze.'
That, he says, was 15 days ahead of last year.
Blaess added-that last year from October 5th through the 9th we had highs in the 80's each day.
The last significant rain was September 17th when there was just one-half of an inch. During the first part of October, Blaess says there has been .02-inches of rain.
