Arrest Made in Clinton robbery
(Clinton) -- Clinton Police have announced the arrest of a Chicago, Illinois person in connection with the armed robbery at 12:40 p.m. Thursday of the Library Pawn Shop, 901 North Second Street in Clinton.
Captain Tom Bohle, Criminal Investigations Commander at the Police Department, stated that 26-year old Darrell Lamar Thomas was arrested around 10:10 p.m. Thursday night in Davenport. He was charged with Robbery in the First Degree; Bohle says that Robbery In the First Degree is a Class “B” felony and carries a maximum sentence of 25-years in prison.
Captain Bohle said that the owner of the Pawn Shop was robbed a knife point with money and jewelry taken; no injuries were reported.
