Clinton Police Update Shooting
(Clinton) -- Clinton Police have released more details about a reporting shooting incident Thursday night.
Captain Tom Bohle, Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division of the Clinton Police Department, said that Police department and fire department personnel responded to 2507 Garfield Street at 7:46 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived on scene, they located Calvin Phelps, age 21, of Clinton with a gunshot wound. Phelps was transported to Mercy Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries. Phelps was released from the hospital on Friday.. Phelps did not provide a description of the shooter.
