Holiday closing
(Clinton) -- New Year's Eve and New Year's Day means city hall closed by county is open
Clinton City government will be closed Monday-for the New Year’s Holiday and on Tuesday.
Clinton County government will be open on Monday and closed on Tuesday.
The County Board will be meeting Monday in a business session at 9:15. On that agenda is a discussion on a ‘social host’ ordinance with County Attorney Mike Wolf. That is scheduled for 9:45.
The Clinton County Board will have a second meeting during the week – on Wednesday also at 9:15 in the morning. At that first of the year meeting – the board will appoint the chairperson for the year. The board will also meet with area state senator Rita Hart at 10 A-M to discuss legislative issues.
