3 charged in Clinton crack cocaine case

(Clinton area) -- From the QCTimes - A convicted Clinton drug dealer now faces new charges connected to a crack cocaine conspiracy with two others, according to records unsealed last week.

A convicted Clinton drug dealer now faces new charges connected to a crack cocaine conspiracy with two others, according to records unsealed last week.

John Jetter, 65, Reginald George, 28, and Briane C. Moore, 25, are charged with conspiracy to distribute 100 grams or more of crack cocaine.

Jetter and George are in custody, and their arraignments are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 28, in U.S. District Court, Davenport. A warrant was issued for Moore’s arrest. As of Monday, she had not been taken into custody.

Jetter is known to Clinton police, having at least four felony drug convictions, including at least one federal drug conviction, court records state. George and Moore also live in Clinton.

Moore has supplied crack to Jetter since 2009, records state. A police informant took Jetter to see Moore on about 50 occasions, records state.

Another informant accompanied Jetter to the Timber Motel, 2225 Lincoln Way, Clinton, on Dec. 5 to buy crack from Moore, records state.

Police executed a search warrant at Room 216 of the Timber Motel on Dec. 8 and found Moore with a small amount of marijuana and crack, records state.

Jetter supplied George crack on multiple occasions, records state. A police informant witnessed George weigh and package 1/2 ounces of crack on nine occasions at Jetter’s Clinton residence.

Clinton police arrested George during a Nov. 13 traffic stop. Police discovered drugs on him, cash in his sock and more drugs as well as digital scales and cellphones in his apartment in the 600 block of 12th Avenue South, records state.
