Suspect arrested in Clinton burglary
(Clinton) -- Clinton Police have announced the arrest of a resident in a business burglary.
Clinton Police Officers responded early Saturday morning to a burglary report from Casey’s General Store at 1336 Camanche Avenue. Following a short search, officers located a suspect to the east of the business near Camanche Avenue. Colin Reid with the Police Department stated in an e-mail news release that 23-year old Jeffrey Wright of Clinton was charged with 2nd degree burglary which is a Class “C” felony and Criminal Mischief 4th degree, a serious misdemeanor. The incident remains under investigation by the Clinton Police Department.
