Meetings this week

(Clinton area) -- An initial schedule of meetings of various governmental units

Members of the Clinton City council will be meeting Monday and Tuesday in closed sessions in the Council chambers at City Hall. The first session at 3 p.m. Monday will be the evaluation of City Administration Jeffery Horne.

The second session, at 3 p.m. Tuesday, will also be a closed session for the evaluation of City attorney, Jeffrey Farwell.

Two area school Boards will meet this evening (Monday.

The River Bend School Board will meet starting at 6:30 in the Fulton Board office. The

Camanche School Board will meet at 7:30 this evening at the Administrative Center.

Also tonight the Board of the Eastern Iowa Community District meets in Davenport. The board oversees the Clinton Community College along with the Scott and Muscatine Communty College Campus locations.

– Members of the Fulton City Council will meet at 5:30 this evening (Monday) at City Hall in a regular business sessions.

Members of the Internal Operations Committee of the Clinton City Council will meet at 9:30 Tuesday morning in the council chambers at City Hall. Finance Director Jessica Kinser will update committee members on the status of automated monthly utility billing and a hardship program for low income residents to get a break on their sewer bills.

Members of the Camanche City Council will meet at 6 Tuesday evening at City hall.

The council has scheduled further discussion on the issue of allowing residents to have chickens on their property in the community as one of the items on the agenda.

Members of the Northeast School Board will meet at 6:30 Wednesday evening in the Elementary library. The first meeting will be to meet with an architect. The regular school board meeting will begin at 7:45 this evening.
