New unemployment rates
(Clinton) -- The unemployment rate in Clinton County is unchanged from April to May-but is down from a year ago.
The latest report from the Iowa Workforce Agency shows an unemployment rate of 5.8% in May-the same as April.
The May rate of 5.8% was 15th highest in the state. The top county was Hamilton with a 7.4%.
In May 2011 the unemployment rate was 6.1%.
