Clinton Man Arrested in 2008 death
(Clinton) -- The Clinton County Sheriff's Department has arrested and charged Andy Cole of Clinton with First Degree Murder.
Sheriff Rick Lincoln stated Cole has been arrested in connection with the 2008 death of Alysia Marburger of Sabula, Iowa. Her body was found along a private drive leading to Rock Creek cabins located south of Camanche, Iowa in October of 2008. Clinton County Attorney Mike Wolf says that Andy Cole made his initial court appearance Friday morning. He is being held in the Clinton County Jail on cash bond of $500,000; his next appearance will be a preliminary hearing on August 3rd at 8:30 a.m. The arrest is the culmination of an investigation by the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, the Clinton County Attorney's Office, and the Iowa Attorney General's Office.
