Stabbing incident reported
(Clinton) -- Clinton Police investigating the reported incident that includes a victim who received stab wounds
Clinton police are investigating what is called a stabbing incident.
Last night about 7:30 officers were called to the 200 block of 6th Avenue South on a report of a person who had been stabbed. Officers located the victim – 51 year old Denny Bruggenwirth. He told officers he had been stabbed while leaving a downtown business, Apollo Billiards at 237 Fifth Avenue South.
Bruggenwirth was transported to the Mercy Medical Center by the Clinton Fire Department for treatment of what was termed non-life threatening injuries.
The case remains under investigation by the Clinton Police Department.
