Iowa DOT Board in town
(Clinton) -- The state board has meeting planned for Clinton including a public input session.
The Iowa D-O-T will be meeting in Clinton today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday). Part of their trip will be to hold a public input meeting in Clinton. The commission typically holds four such input meetings each year.
Today the commissions will tour transportation projects in the area, including a boat tour of the Mississippi River and projects along the river.
On Tuesday it is a brief formal business meeting and then the public input session starts at 9:30. Mayor Mark Vulich will welcome those to Clinton.
Edith Reiss Pfeiffer will lead a Highway 30 delegation presentation at 9:35 a.m. The City of DeWitt will appear at 10 a.m. led by Tami Petsche, executive director of the DeWitt Development Company. The Union Pacific Railroad will be making an appearance at 10:25 a.m. with
Brenda Mainwaring, director of public affairs for Iowa and Nebraska.
Other presentations include Coralville, East Central Transportation Coalition, Bicycle Coalition, Highway 61 Coalition and others.
