Fire Alarm at CHS
(Clinton) -- Clinton School Superintendent Deb Olson issued a statement about the fire alarm at Clinton High School this morning-read it here:
This morning around 11 AM, the fire alarms were activated at Clinton High School. All students and staff were evacuated safely and quickly. The Clinton Fire Department responded to the call. It was determined that a smoke sensor near the new washing machine area under Yourd Gym was triggered by two contractors grinding concrete in that area. All students re-entered the building and were back to their schedules by 11:25 AM. We are so fortunate in having such a responsive fire department. Our staff at CHS is to be commended for their safe and orderly evacuation of our students.
