Owner says tells city he'll fix Wilson Building
(Clinton) -- Building shut down last week due to the concerns about mold.
Clinton Building Inspector Mike Harmon says he has been assured by the owner of the Wilson Building in downtown Clinton that he will make the needed repairs to re-open the building.
Harmon said the building was shut down last week due to issues with ‘mold.’ There are currently no occupants of the building.
Harmon says the first floor business – an auctioneering business – was given 30 days to move, pending further air quality testing.
Harmon said he contacted the property owner – Bill Twyeford – who said he would make the repairs to get the building back in shape for occupation.
