Camanche man killed in motorcycle crash
(Clinton area) -- Single vehicle crash occurs near Folletts
A Camanche man was killed in a single vehicle crash last night in Clinton County.
Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the crash about 7 o’clock Tuesday night in an area two miles west of Folletts.
Investigators report 45 year old Allen Kempter of Camanche was operating his 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle east bound on 292nd Street when he failed to negotiate a curve and crossed the center line and left the travelled portion of the road and entered the north side ditch. He was thrown from the motorcycle.
Kempter was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Low Moor Fire Department, Genesis Ambulance and the Clinton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
