Clinton Police report Saturday case
(Clinton) -- Unattended death investigation
Clinton Police are calling the Saturday discovery of a body in the north part of a town an ‘unattended death.’
Police say the department was responding to 3022 Pershing to check on the welfare of the resident. Upon arrival, an adult male was found deceased in the 3000 block alley between Pershing and Cleveland Street from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The identity of the individual has not been released.
The case remains under investigation by the Clinton Police Department and the Clinton County Medical Examiner’s office.
