came to KROS in 1983 and has been in charge of the news department since
that time. Since 1999 he has also been, at times, involved in the
management of the station. Dave also serves on the Board of
Directors of the
Iowa
Broadcast News Association and the Iowa

Sports Director/Morning Show/SalesGary Determan

Gary started with KROS in May of
1976 and has served the station in a number of capacities, which is what
he enjoys about small market radio. Currently, Gary is the host of the
"Gary in the Morning" show weekdays from 6 till 9:30 AM. Gary
then sells radio advertising. Many evenings you can find Gary at a
ballpark or gym covering local sports for KROS. He has been doing play
by play since starting with the station and with the retirement of Hall
of Famer Hank Dihlmann in the mid-80's, he has served as the Sports
Director. Gary and his wife Mary have 4 children, a
son in law, a daughter in law and one grandson. In his spare time Gary
enjoys fishing with his family. Gary would like to thank you for your
interest in KROS, the station has been a very important part of his
life. Keep Right

Program Director/Announcer
Paul Clark
| Paul's career at KROS started as a part time announcer in
1987. He has been a full time announcer since 1988 and has been the
Program Director since 1991. Paul is also in charge of production, and
is assistant to the Chief Engineer. In his spare time Paul and his wife
Nanci work at the CCC basketball games and Paul is the player/manager of
the KROS softball team. You can hear Paul weekdays from 9:30 AM
-12:00 PM, and the news hour at 4 PM. |

Homespun Lane/BookkeepingEllen
Ketelsen
|
Ellen is the Office Manager, Bookkeeper and Receptionist at
KROS. In addition to those duties she is also the hostess of Homespun
Lane, heard Monday through Friday from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. This is the
show where Ellen shares recipes, household hints, and invites guest
dieticians in once a month. She has been with KROS since March, 1984 and
hostess of Homespun Lane since October, 1988. Ellen and her husband Don
have 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She has
been a member of the "Clintones" singing group for almost 40
years. Ellen is also a member of the Wa-Tan-Ye Club and is active at the
First United Methodist Church where she sings in the choir. |

Greg is in his second stint with
KROS. He worked for the
station from 1996 – 2004 and returned in November 2007.
Greg is on the sales staff and does a few on-air
interviews, commercial production and remote broadcasts.
Greg also organizes the KROS Bridal Fantasy and helps with
the Plus 50 Living Fair and many other station promotions.
Greg is a
Fulton,
Illinois
resident. He graduated
from the Fulton Schools, Mt. Saint Clare College and was a Speech
Communications major and Theatre minor at
Illinois
State
University.
Greg has been involved in
several community organizations including the Macomb Community Theatre,
Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association and he is
currently on the Fulton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the
Fulton Tourism Committee. Since 1984 Greg has
been the owner/operator of the Party Town Mobile DJ Service providing
music for receptions, reunions, parties and dances throughout the area.

Dymkowski

Referred to as the Hall of Famer, Gene has been a
part-time member of the KROS staff since 1965. He was inducted into the
KROS Hall of Fame in 2006. Over the years, Gene has worked in many
capacities from man on the street interviews to hosting a Big Band Show
on Sunday's for over 20 years. Gene currently works on air weekends from
10 AM to 1 PM. He is also the board op during local sports
coverage. |

Part-time NewsWarren
Kitts

Warren was born in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from the Swarthmore
(PA) public schools in 1968. He graduated from Newberry Junior College
in Boston, MA with a degree in Radio-TV Performance and Production. He
received his FCC Third Class Broadcast Endorsement during college.
Warren joined KROS as a part time news gatherer, writer and announcer
from 1994 to 1999. He was News Director from 1999 to 2005 and rejoined
the staff part time in 2007. Warren currently works Friday's in the news
room and is the Saturday morning announcer from 6 to 10 AM.

Nanci joined the KROS staff in 2003. She worked as the
Saturday morning announcer until 2006 and Sunday morning announcer until
2007. Currently, Nanci works part time in the newsroom and is the Team
Trivia Coordinator. Nanci is a 1997 graduate of Berklee College of Music in
Boston and teaches piano locally. Nanci met her husband Paul at KROS and
they married in 2005. |

Kevin joined the KROS staff in 2007 as the Saturday night
announcer and in 2008 the Thursday, Friday and Saturday board op for
local sports. In October, 2008, Kevin became the Sunday morning
announcer and is on air from 7 to 10 AM. |

Katie is this years student announcer from Northeast High
School as part of their Work Study Program. You can hear her on the air
every other week day from 10 am to Noon. |

Pest ControlSmiley

Smiley came to KROS in November 2008 with a job description
as being "cute and adorable" and also to help keep KROS rodent
free. Smiley was found in Camanche and came to KROS from the Humane
Society and appreciates their help in finding him a new home.
Smiley also appreciates the help he received from the Camanche
Veterinary Clinic. Smiley and KROS encourage everyone to support
the Clinton Humane Society
and check there to adopt your pet.

Ros arrived at KROS in March 2008 at
the invitation of Tommy. Like the song "She got the
Goldmine, I got the Shaft" Ros needed a place to stay with his 5
children. He gets to stay here
as long as he serves as the station mascot and make appearances at
KROS events and get his picture taken, etc. Tough job, but
somebody has to do it!
