Elected Officials Not Returning Are Honored at the Final Meeting Of The Year

Three Clinton City Council members and the Mayor who were not re-elected in November were honored at the final meeting of the year.

At the conclusion of the brief meeting-City Administrator Matt Brooke  recognized each of them for the service.

Mark Vulich has served as Mayor since 2012 and was on the council the prior six years.

He commented that he and his wife will go back to a private life.

And Paul Gassman the current 4th Ward Council member was honored for his service.  He served as an at-large council member before not running for re-election and then going back to college and then returning to the council.  He said it was 16 years on the council overall.  He says he’s not going to disappear.

Lynn McGraw has been serving as the 2nd Ward Council member.  The final meeting was on what would have been her late husband’s birthday.  She credited him for helping her understand city business when she started.

And Codey Seeley has been an At-Large Council Member and says he’ll stay involved in the community.

City Administrator Matt Brooke said each of the outgoing members had played a part in the improvements in the community..
