Road Trip Iowa Trivia Night to be hosted in Clinton

Johnston, IA — Did you know that there are 14 scenic byways across the state of Iowa? Test your knowledge and get excited about Iowa PBS’s new travel series, Road Trip Iowa, at an upcoming trivia night near you. The statewide network is hosting trivia events along the Jefferson Highway Heritage Byway, the Western Skies Scenic Byway and the Great River Road National Scenic Byway this spring.

Coming up in your area, join in on the fun for a night of Iowa scenic byway and travel-themed trivia at The Sawmill Museum in Clinton, on May 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. A watch party of the Road Trip Iowa episode featuring the central part of the Great River Road National Scenic Byway will be included in this trivia night.

“We are excited to uplift this new series by hosting these engaging events,” said Iowa PBS Engagement Manager Caryline Clark. “I’m excited to meet many of you at our stops along the scenic byways as we celebrate the launch of this new series!”

After watching the episode premiere, participants will work together in teams of 2-4 to test their knowledge of Iowa’s scenic byways, historical sites and unique attractions, as well as enjoy complimentary snacks and refreshments at this free event. Iowa-themed prizes from local shops will be awarded to the teams with the top three scores. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
