The Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus To Perform in Clinton

The Clinton High School Choral Music Department will be hosting the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus on Saturday, February 17, 2018.  The Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus is a choral organization for young people which seeks to promote excellence in singing and appreciation of music from all around the world. As an official affiliate of the Grand Rapids Symphony, the choruses are featured in 3 or more concerts with the symphony each year.  The chorus is directed by Sean Ivory, a Clinton High School graduate.  Mr. Ivory, an internationally recognized conductor, pianist, and composer currently lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He teaches choral music at Forest Hills Central High School in addition to his work with the GRSYC.  Leah Ivory accompanies the group and will be working with the students on a collaborative piece.  The Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus and the Clinton High School A’Cappella and Mixed Choirs will present a concert at Zion Lutheran Church at 7:30pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
