Event Description:
If you are interested in hops and barley, Ryan Welch from CCC is the go-to-guy for home brew! The craft beer craze that has spread far and wide around the world has been fueled mainly by folks starting at home with little more than a plastic bucket and a dream. In this 45 min to 1 hr. program we will explore a brief history of beer brewing, along with some of the basic ingredients that go into home brewed beer. We will also look at the equipment that one needs to begin the brewing process, and what problems home brewers often run into, especially starting out.
