Event Details

What is the Buzz? Our lives – and the world as a whole – would be a much different place if bees didn’t exist. Bees are responsible for pollinating about one-sixth of the flowering plant species worldwide and approximately 400 different agricultural types of plant.  Find out at the Pollinator Please program on Monday October 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. 2017 Iowa Honey Queen Carly Raye will present a program on the importance of bees and pollinators. Her goal is to present programs in all 99 counties of Iowa.

The Pollinator Please program is sponsored by Clinton Community College Bickelhaupt Arboretum  and the Clinton County Master  Gardeners.  It will be held at the Clinton Community College Tech Center 1951 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton, Iowa.

The program free to the public.

For more information, contact Margo Hanson at the Bickelhaupt Arboretum, 563-242-4771.
