CCC Maquoketa Center to host ENCORE Enrichment Courses for Retirees

October is here and it is time for a Fall Tune-up! The annual ENCORE – ENrichment COurses for REtirees will be held at the Clinton Community College Maquoketa Center on Friday, October 20, 2017.  This annual event is an opportunity to enjoy entertaining and informative speakers on a variety of topics.

The 2017 ENCORE sessions include:

  • Dean Engel, Trust Officer of Maquoketa State Bank, who will share information you need to enjoy a long retirement.  He will also offer ways to leave a legacy in your community.
  • Longtime CCC instructors John and Martha Bonte will take participants along on their photographic tour of Greece and Italy titled Foundations, Passages, Connections.
  • Performance by Quad Cities Visiting Artist performers PROJECT Trio.   PROJECT Trio is a high energy chamber music ensemble.  Blending their classical training with eclectic tastes in jazz, rock, hip-hop, PROJECT Trio has made an impact on audiences of all ages.  This genre-defying group deliver “subversive humor and first-rate playing,” according to the Wall Street Journal.  Expect a program that includes classical, jazz, rock, hip-hop, salsa and everything in between!

This is a day you will not want to miss!  ENCORE will be held at the CCC Maquoketa Center, 501 West Washington, Maquoketa, Iowa.  Registration for ENCORE, Enrichment Courses for Retirees program is free, however registration is required by calling 563-244-7100. The Course is #188199.
