Clinton Community College will host a series of events focused on immigration and the effects of current policies among undocumented immigrants, including DACA students (the so called “Dreamers”). The movie NO TURNING BACK will be shown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 18 at Clinton Community College, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton. The main Character from the movie, Jesus Nebot, will be at Clinton Community College on Friday, September 22 to discuss the topic of immigration. The discussion begins at 12:30 p.m.
NO TURNING BACK is a thought provoking immigration story inspired by actual events that reflects upon the need of transcending our judgments of other cultures and points of view in order to live peacefully and harmoniously in a society as diverse as ours. Multi-award winning filmmaker Jesus Nebot is an immigration speaker with 15 years of experience in professional illegal immigration facilitation.
This is a unique chance to educate and engage our community in a positive discussion about immigration and the effects of current policies among the undocumented immigrant community.
