Saturday, April 16th ~ Spring Fling ~ 10 AM-2 PM ~ Rock Creek ~ Spend the day celebrating Spring! At 10 AM there will be a FREE egg hunt for ages 1-12 by the back playground (weather permitting). Join Naturalist Jill Schmidt at 11 AM to expand your knowledge of trumpeter swans in Iowa! This program will share information regarding the return of this magnificent bird to our state
and how their current population is doing. Composting is an easy and fun way to utilize your food waste! Get your hands dirty and learn how to make a simple compost bin for your home during a program at 12:30 PM. There will be
other fun things going on throughout the day including live animals, snacks, crafts, balloon artist and other family friendly activities!
