Event Description:
“Youthful Visions”
Each year, Clinton Symphony Orchestra holds Young Artist Auditions, open to high school musicians from throughout the area. One student is then invited to perform as soloist, accompanied by the orchestra. It’s an exciting time, and a great showcase for some of the finest music education in the area.
This year the orchestra will play the Overture to Carl Maria von Weber’s opera Der Freischutz, and the Symphony No. 3 by Jean Sibelius in addition to the feature solo by the selected Young Artist.
