Conservation Happenings Within Clinton County

Event Details

The Clinton Community College Conservation Biology class will offer the seminar – Conservation Happenings Within Clinton County – on Wednesday, November 11. The presentation will be held from 11:35 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. in CCC Room 116, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton. This is the second seminar for the Clinton Community College Conservation Biology class and is open to all who are interested. This presentation will be presented by Darin Voss the Natural Resource Technician for the Clinton County Conservation Board.

Many people are unaware of the vast amount of wildlife and conservation areas that inhabit Clinton County and the importance of these areas. All of the areas that the county manages are unique in their own way and consist of a variety of habitats. In this presentation some habitat projects and practices will be highlighted that have been done by staff from Clinton County Conservation. These projects have involved work on our wildlife areas, as well as on private lands, and emphasize the importance of partnerships with other conservation organizations and agencies. Voss will also be sharing other roles that he plays in local conservation.
