Fulton Fall Fest Grows!

This year’s Fulton Fall Fest will have the same Autumn sights, sounds, and smells with some new components added which will make sure we offer something for everyone. This event will take place in our Downtown on Saturday September 26, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm.

To start the festival we will have a 1st ever Color Ride! This activity will start at the top of our riverfront, proceed along our Great River Road Trail, run past commercial businesses, and through our residential to end where the fest continues. The cost will be $5 per child, $10 per adult, or $25 per family.

The Fall Fest will also have indoor crafters selling a variety of goods at the Robert Fulton Community Center. Spaces are 10 x 10 and will cost $25. If interested in becoming a craft vendor please call the Fulton Chamber of Commerce at 815-589-4545. Registration forms for craft fair vendors will be mailed out after inquiries with the chamber office.
To end the festival we will have a 1st ever Soap Box Derby. This activity will cover a couple of blocks near our Downtown and will contain three classes. These divisions are: Child 6-11, Youth 12-17, and Adult 18+. The cost will be $10 per driver. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each class will be given.

Registration forms for the Color Ride and Soap Box Derby will be ready Wed. Aug. 19th at the Fulton Chamber of Commerce office and on the City of Fulton Website: www.cityoffulton.us.
