Crawl Participants: Student Rate: $10.00 before 9/1, $15.00 after 9/1. Adults 18+: $20.00 before 9/1, $25.00 after 9/1 Family Rate (2 kids + 2 adults): $40.00 before 9/1, $45.00 after 9/1 ($5.00 for each addt’l kid) 5K Race Participants: (includes admission to the Zombie Crawl) $25.oo before 9/1; $30.00 after 9/1 1st place overall prize for male & female winners. Age Divisions: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Event Description:
2ND Annual Fulton Zombie Crawl and 5K Events June 29, 2017 (Fulton, IL) – The 2nd Annual Zombie Crawl and 5K is being planned to benefit the Andresen Nature Center and the Early American Crafters of Heritage Canyon. The Zombie 5K will start at the Robert Fulton Community Center beginning at 3 p.m. followed by the Zombie Crawl at 4 p.m. at Heritage Canyon. Parking for this event will be located at the RFCC or the Fulton Corp Parking lot, located at 8th Ave and 3rd St. A shuttle bus will pick-up and drop-off in the north parking lot at the RFCC. The goal for these events are to produce funds that aide in the continued programming and operations of each organization so they may help grow our community. The deadline for donor and sponsorship acknowledgement is August 1st. This year’s event will feature a zombie pre-event tailgate party at the Robert Fulton Community Center with Holly’s Dogs preparing a special Zombie Dog for the event. Need to know your fate? The Magic Girls, fortune-tellers, will be there to “help” you on your journey to Heritage Canyon. Marlena Midnight, TV and radio personality will be on hand to talk to people about her show “Midnight Mausoleum”. Zombies from Skellington Manor will also be roaming Heritage Canyon. Preregistration opens on July 1, 2017. Individuals wishing to participate in the Zombie Crawl or the 5k can visit The City of Fulton website (www.cityoffulton.us) to print a registration form or register online at www.getmeregistered.com. Student crawl preregistration is $10 and $15 the day of. Adults 18+ crawl preregistration is $20 and $25 the day of. Family crawl preregistration is $40 and $45 the day of. Preregistration for any participant wishing to do both the 5K and the crawl is $25 and $30 on race day. Runners are welcome to dress up as zombies, but are asked to wear the Zombie Crawl/5K t-shirt if they wish to participate in the Crawl within Heritage Canyon. Individuals completing the course are challenged the task of visiting five checkpoints within the Canyon and collecting a token from each station. Zombies will be roaming through the canyon seeking health flags that participants receive upon check-in. Participants must return tokens and any remaining health flags upon check-in at the Andresen Nature Center to be classified and entered to win prizes.
