University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator Bruce Black will offer a program on Growing and Preserving Herbs at the Sterling Public Library May 10 at 10am. This workshop introduces attendees to the different types of culinary and aromatic herbs, how to grow them and techniques to use and preserve your harvest for use throughout the year. This workshop is free and open to the public.
