The Clinton chapter of Izaac Walton will hold a monthly meeting at 6:30, Thursday, April 20 at the Ikes Headquarters, 6 miles west of Clinton, Highway 136. A meal will be served before the meeting and the main dish will be provided. Guests are asked to bring a dish to pass.
The speaker will be Ed Britton, Wildlife and Rufuge Manager, US Fish and Wildlife Sevice. Britton will present a program on his work in the Alaskan Wilderness where active volcanoes and glaciers dominate the landscape and grizzly bears are the top predator. Ed will also discuss the proposed $20 million habitat restoration project on Beaver Island.
The meeting is open to Ikes members, friends and interested public.
