The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, Local & Government Affairs Committee, Clinton Regional Development Corporation, Clinton Education Association and the American Association of University Women will host a Legislative Coffees at the Clinton Chamber office on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 9:00a.m. This event is free and open to the public.
Legislators representing the Clinton County area will be attending these coffees and will have the opportunity to overview the last month’s work in Des Moines and discuss bills that are pending.
Each Legislator will have an opportunity to express their views on the current items that are in process and making their way through both Houses of Government in Iowa. That is followed by a question and answer period. Questions, filled out by those in attendance, are given to the Moderator who will direct them to each respective Legislator.
