The Mt. Carroll Fire Dept will be hosting its annual invitational water fight competition Saturday September 17 at the Burning Grounds on North Galena Street. Practice and sign in will begin at 11:00 with the first match at noon. There will be ground fights as well as over head. There will be kids water fights after the ground competition is complete. There will also be a food stand available featuring the Firemen’s Famous Pork Chops. Spectators are reminded to bring lawn chairs. For information, call 815/244-4502
