Enjoy 100 years of rural American music at Scott County Conservation’s 5th annual “Pioneer Village Harvest Moon Song & Dance Fest” on Sunday, Sept 30, 2018 from 1-5. Gates open at noon. Admission is $6.00 adults, $3.00 children, under 5 free.
The festival features five area groups performing a timeline of traditional, bluegrass, fiddle, and banjo, folk and early country music from 1900’s to 1960’s. The bands include: Quarter Moon Tinsnips playing 1800’s music, Wandering Patriots Harmonica Band 1900-1920’s, Gene & Nancy Morgan & friends 1930-1940’s, Fifth of Country 1950’s-1960’s will be on stage behind the bank and Banjo Jeff will be singing old time children’s songs in the saloon.
Food from Big Dave & Holly’s of LeClaire, Ice cream in Village Soda Fountain. Lawn chairs are welcome. Rain or Shine. If rain, music will be in Olde St. Ann’s Church on the grounds.
