Event Description:
The Splash Dash is a back-to-school tradition! Children will enjoy the run and fitness challenge, a bounce house, face painting, train rides, tours of the Lyons Fire Station, and more. The Lyons Farmers Market will be in full swing, so you can shop for fresh local produce as well.
Food will also be available for purchase from local vendors. The YWCA Fitness Staff will be hosting an obstacle course at Four Square Park — it has all the makings of a great evening with the family!
Registration begins at 4:30 at Four Square Park and the children’s run begins at 6pm. The $5 charge includes a medal and tee shirt (guaranteed to the first 100 participants), and all of the kids’ activities! The run is a short one-block sprint for the little ones and a longer jaunt for the big kids.
