The Jackson/Clinton County Dairy Association is sponsoring the 8th annual Lunch on the Dairy Farm on Sunday, June 19th 1-4 pm at Banowetz Dairy located at 1276 320th Ave. north of Charlotte.
Lunch on the Dairy Farm is an opportunity for people of all ages to get an up close look at a modern dairy farm and learn how milk and other dairy products are produced.
There will be a free picnic lunch served with grilled hamburgers, brats & hot dogs, baked beans, chips, milk, soft serve ice cream and novelty ice cream treats. There will also be tours of the 300 cow dairy, butter making, children’s activities and a petting zoo.
Take Hwy. 136 to Charlotte turn north on Broadway, go out of town past the church and follow the signs to the farm.
