The Morrison United Methodist Church returns to two Sunday services, 8:00 and 10:15, on Sunday, September 8th with the celebration of Rally Day for all Sunday School aged children.

With the theme of “Growing with Jesus,” Rally Day is the start of a new year of teaching and learning in the Methodist and Presbyterian Church Combined Sunday School, and it signifies the end of summer vacation and the return to Sunday School.  It is also a time to recognize and honor both those who teach and those who learn.  Rally Day is an opportunity to acknowledge the unique partnership of parents, Sunday School teachers and others in Christian education.  It is a time for the full congregation to rally behind the intention that all children, youth and adults grow and learn.  It is a day for congregations to celebrate their ministry of Christian Education.

Parents may register their children that day or call either church office.  Forms will be available on Rally Day.

An Ice Cream Social will be held following the 10:15 service in Heritage Hall.  On the menu will be barbeque sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, and of course, desserts and ice cream.  A free will donation is appreciated.
