Volunteer Millers to Host Music Program on January 5

The Volunteer Millers at De Immigrant windmill in Fulton, Illinois, will kick off their 2016 programs on Tuesday, January 5, at 6:00 PM. The event will be held at the
Windmill Cultural Center at 111 – 10th Avenue in downtown Fulton, across the street from the city’s authentic Dutch windmill.

“Floristic Diversity of South America” will be
presented by Bohdan Dziadyk, professor at Augustana College.
Bohdan Dziadyk has a PhD from North Dakato State University and has taught in the biology department at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, for 35 years. He has taught Applied Ecology in both Asia and Latin America. He founded the Field Station programs at Augustana and is active in the Organization of Biological Field Stations. Dr. Dziadyk has taught classes through Augustana’s study abroad program in Latin America.
Refreshments will be served following the presentation. The facility is accessible to persons with disabilities. The program is free and open to the public.
