Unemployment rates in Clinton and Clinton County dropped from August to the September report.
In both cases the data showed more people considered employed with fewer unemployed.
In Clinton County the unemployment rate in August was 5 percent and it was 3-point-8 percent in September.
In the city the rate fell from 5-point-8 percent to 4-point-4 percent.
