Local Unemployment Rates Drop

The unemployment rate in Clinton County and Clinton dropped in March from the February statistics.

In the area the number of people considered employed increased while the number considered unemployed and in the workforce declined.

The Clinton County unemployment rate in March was 4%.  That’s down from 4.5% in February.  In March of 2021 the county unemployment rate was 5.9%.

The latest Iowa Workforce statistics show the unemployment rate in March was 4.1% and that’s down from 4.3% in February.  See full data IWFD March Unemployment Data
