Medication & Vape Take Back Day

A local effort to take back unneeded medication plus a new effort to take back vaping supplies will be held this Saturday (April 30th).

The collection spots will be at the Clinton County Law Center in Clinton and the Camanche Police Station.

The Clinton Area Substance Council is coordinating the effort with the other local agencies.

Clinton County Sheriff Bill Greenwalt told the Clinton County Board Monday in Clinton the Law Center Parking lot will be the location.

Greenwalt credited Clinton Area Substance Council and Director Kristin Huisenga for leading the effort over the years.

Hoisenga added this is a first for taking back vape products.

Huisenga added the batteries from vaping items must be removed and can be submitted separately.

Again-the medicine and vaping supplies take back is this Saturday-April 30th from 10 to 2 at the Clinton County Law Center Parking Lot and the Camanche Police Department Station.
