Upcoming Events with Clinton County Conservation

Friday, December 15th ~ Turtle Time ~ 10:30 AM ~ Children’s Discovery Center, Clinton ~ Around here, there are land and water turtles. Some are small and some are quite large. At this presentation, we will bring our largest, snappiest turtle to our smallest, land turtle with plenty of hands-on opportunities.

Sunday, December 17th ~ Animals in Hibernation ~ 1:30 PM ~ Rock Creek ~ Join a Naturalist to learn all about why animals go into a deep sleep during the cold winter months called hibernation! Hibernation is one of the three main things animals do to survive the winter. We will learn about all three ways, hear a story and do a craft! All ages are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tuesday, December 19th ~ Archery ~ 4 PM – 6 PM ~ Rock Creek ~ Whether you’ve done archery countless times or have never tried it, stop by the basement of Rock Creek to shoot compound bows. All equipment is provided. Children 9 years old and up can participate and must be accompanied by an adult.
