MOUNT CARROLL – The Rotary Club of Mount Carroll is thrilled to announce the launch of its monthly Charity Bingo Night at the Davis Community Center, Wednesday nights beginning this April.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., with Early Bird raffle games starting at 5:30 p.m. and bingo kicking off at 6:00 p.m. The evening will feature ten rounds of bingo and six raffle games, including three progressive jackpots that will continue to grow throughout the year.
“All games will have cash payouts to the winners,” said Dan Danielowski, Rotary member and Bingo Manager. “Raffle prizes will pay out a minimum of 50% to the winner, and bingo game payouts will be based on the number of players participating each night.” A ten-card bingo pack will cost $10.00 and raffles will range from $1.00 to $5.00 each.
“We are excited to bring the community together for an evening of fun that serves a meaningful purpose,” said Amy Buss, President of the Rotary Club of Mount Carroll. “Every raffle ticket and bingo card purchased helps support Rotary’s mission and the projects we care deeply about.”
All proceeds from Bingo Night will benefit the Rotary Club of Mount Carroll and the Davis Community Center. Rotary’s local initiatives include support for the Carroll County Food Bank and the Mt. Carroll Mini Food Bank, scholarships for students, school project funding, and the planting and maintenance of a community orchard at the Davis Community Center entrance. Additional efforts include raising awareness of human trafficking, providing safety equipment for the community pool, installing AEDs in local establishments, and assisting with the replacement of Mt. Carroll fire hydrants. Rotary also contributes to international efforts such as clean water initiatives, ShelterBox disaster relief, and the global campaign to end polio.
