Friday, May 1, 2026 10 a.m. Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) invites media and the public to a ribbon cutting celebration for the newly renovated Bickelhaupt Arboretum. The event will commemorate the completion of improvements and officially reopen the space as a hub for education, nature, and community gatherings. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view the Arboretum’s Dambo troll installation.

Attendees will join community members, donors, and friends in celebrating the transformation of the Arboretum. The program will include:
· Welcome and remarks
· Ceremonial ribbon cutting
· Opportunities to explore the renovated facilities and grounds
· Viewing of the Dambo troll installation
· Refreshments provided by Homer’s Deli
